The market for news outlets grows slim as television phases out - Social media is the new platform for young, educated voices.

The Black Menaces have gathered a cult-following of over 900k combined users over two of the most popular social media platforms, TikTok and Instagram. The Black Menaces do extensive research on scholarly reports from multiple institutions, professional write-ups, and verified documents. The content consists of raw and real interviews from college students on international matters, with people on the street about local elections. The realness factor makes this outlet more reliable and headed in the right direction.
Video storytelling has multiplied the YouTube audience and increased demand for more long-form content.
As the primary editor for the "Resisting Fascism Worldwide" series, I curated the thumbnails and visual assets throughout 24 consecutive videos.
In tandem with the post-production process, I also create social clips for TikTok & Instagram distribution. Short-form clip making requires a specific formula for how to display content in order to maximize retention and engagement.
The series amassed over 90k impressions on Instagram alone, averaging at 9k views per video.
